Hello. I've been thinking about getting the Melbourne Red exterior--and I like the dark wheels seen on the european models. But I don't want the "deep dish" look. Any ideas for me?

Check out the Volk Time Attacks TE28s and CE37s. They were limited in quantity but you still may be able to drum up a set (or have one painted).

These are killer wheels and weigh 20-22lbs for 19"ers. The offsets should work for the E9X M3. Not sure if they are as dark as you want them though.

Thanks guys for your quick replies. I'm just not sure I like the OEM 19's. I didn't have that problem with my e46 competition pkg csl-type wheels.

Oh, right. But I think so far we only know the specs for the standard 3 series, not for the M3!?

I tried Photoshopping those wheels onto an AW M3 but there is too much red from that carpet reflected onto the rims for it to look any good...Im pretty sure they would look magnificent with AW.

I don't want to put 20s on my M3 but if they are available in the correct size/offset at 19" I think they would be FTW.

Sure you do! You had it right in your previous posts South - ET 29 front, 23 rear, same for both 18" and 19". It is defined on page 93 of the aftersales training manual:

Wheels, tyres and brakes
Wheels and tyres
In the standard version, the cast 18" 'M'
double spoke wheel (style 260) is available for
the E92 M3, with the forged and polished 19"
'M' double-spoke wheel (style 220) available
as an option. These are weight-optimized M3
light alloy wheels.
The tyres are also specifically selected for the
M3. The Michelin Pilot Sport (PS2*) is
currently fitted.

Wheel/tyre specification
Standard wheel:
Front
Wheel: 8.5 J x 18; IS 29; EH2+
Tyres: 245-40 ZR 18
Rear
Wheel: 9.5 J x 18; IS 23; EH2+
Tyres: 265-40 ZR 18

Optional:
Front
Wheel: 8.5 J x 19; IS 29; EH2
Tyres: 245-35 ZR 19 XL
Rear
Wheel: 9.5 J x 19; IS 23; EH2
Tyres: 265-35 ZR 19 XL

Winter wheel:

Is it possible to tell if the "M3" version requires spacers? I'm not a big fan of them

As mentioned we know the specs of the Breyton wheels that fit on a E91:

I guess there will be an M3 version of these wheels with the offset being 29mm front and 33mm rear.

Count me in for the M3 19in version of these wheels. They would likely look good with any exterior color.
