Thought post some old cellphone pics, taken when some of my friends got together check out each other's watches. (Yep, about as "boring" as going to an E90 meet and check out each other's car )

Do, or do not. There is no 'try'.

New watch. Custom, unbranded. 44mm. Hand wind. Orange Lume. (the stuff that glows in the dark)

This is such a pretentious thread, but wtf... My fav watch is an IWC Der Fliegerchronograph. I had have both the metal bracelet and leather strap, but always gravitate back to the leather. Though, some day, I'd love an IWC Big Pilot.

Are you saying that's a knock-off Speedy Pro? If so it's a good one but still a cheap knock-off and illegal at that. By the way Bond currently wears an Omega Planet Ocean and never wore a Speedmaster Professional. Here wore Rolex Subs and Omega Seamasters.
Thanks, Mike. |

I can tell that it's a fake Omega because the watch dial is so large and the bracelet is not proportional to the watch dial. How much did you pay for the watch? I would rather buy a real Swiss watch, than a fake one. Like a cheap Swiss Army watch. I doubt your watch is water resistant or shock resistant.
I have this watch with a black leather strap for almost 10 years. Nice, unprententious, classy. Not a flawless watch, as I did bring it in for some minor problems such as water leakage, and a broken strap but they were fixed under warranty. Yep, the strap broke in two weaks, the cheapo German made strap you see in the pic above which is made out of nylon and leather. |

Very old thread. I posted my collection on the first couple posts or so... Have a new addition to the family. GMT II Ceramic:
Got it for Christmas and since that day it's lost 4 seconds! The most precise watch (automatic or manual for that matter) I've ever had.

I used to have that, as well as an IWC Ceramic Doppel (not the gay top gun version). Great watches... I was able to wear em for a while and still make a nice profit on them too.
