E92 Transformation

I've been on this forum for years over several different M cars. Great community with great ideas suggestions and sources.

For my latest project I picked up an '09 E92 6MT stripper with 80K miles on it in October with the plan of building it out and eventually supercharging (Harrop). All work being done at European Road and Racing in N. Charleston SC. I wanted to share the picks - loving where it's at so far!

Interior
- New Performance Steering Wheel
- Full Carbon Fiber Interior Trim
- PedalHaus Pedals
- IND Matts

Exterior
- 3M Dark Grey Satin Wrap
- OnEighty Headlights
- LCI Tail lights (shown in last pic only)
- Tint
- Spacers

Performance
- Akra Evo Exhaust
- Dinan Underdrive Pulley
- Stop Tech BBK
- ERR Wheels
- KW Coilovers

Upcoming Mods
- BE Rods & Bearing job
- Harrop Supercharger

Enjoy!

I get bored with cars easily I guess! I had an E92 M3, went to an M4 and missed the V8 so I went back. In between I bought a Sherrod Edition Silverado which I still have.

I think the car looked better stock. The car is over done with cheap cosmetic mods and stickers, ugly wheels. This is the equivalent of cooking a steak in the broiler for 2 hours.

All good . The paint job was shot, hard to tell in the before shots. The roof and hood had fade spots. So it needed a paint job or a wrap. The M stripes on the scoop I'm still 50/50 on that was the wrap guys idea lol. The headlights on the old car were all dingy and scratched up so i wanted to refurbish those. As far as the wheels go I wanted some that matched the car color. Other than that it's just a E92..

I think the interior is a vast improvement I love the carbon fiber.

Gloss carbon fiber looks tacky. Makes the interior look cheaper. Other than that i like the steering wheel.

J.ho:
I like it - the update makes it look more modern.

The rims are awesome.

The marine blue in my world has always been a granny-color......

Great choice.

Another Charleston person chiming in. Like the wrap, and the steering wheel... and I can certainly vouch for ERR. I've known the owner for years. Looks good on the outside now that you've gotten rid of the stripes. That was definitely over the top.
