Available M3 allocation immediately... (but...)

First to the moderators, please remove this if it's not within board rules.

A good friend of mine, beewang, who's a moderator on Bimmerfest, is selling his allocation for an M3.
This car is available to spec immediately. I don't know what he's asking for the "spot" - but I doubt it will be anywhere near what some dealers are asking. I'm just passing this info along on his behalf, I'm not saying I endorse selling a spot.

If anyone is interested, PM me and I'll give you his email and phone #.

In the interest of the board, I'll let everyone know how much it went for, or if he was able to sell it. It might give us some idea of immediate demand and the value of the car...

No takers yet AFAIK.

The car's production date has been moved up to the end of FEB.... it needs to be spec'd ASAP. PM me or hunt down beewang on Bimmerfest.com ... you'll find him in the Euro Delivery forum.

Hans, you realize there is a BMW dealer on the forum who happens to be advertising a status 112 spot at MSRP, right?

My guess is most fanatics on the forum like myself are already locked into some kind of deal. Otherwise, I would have jumped on the other 112 at MSRP offer.

Shoot, I might take that up. My spot doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

I'd try if I were you. If he had posted a week earlier, I would have been on board. Not worth the effort for me now.

The spot did not sell and the car was spec'd by the next guy in line today. So that's for him!

I think its a disgrace that a Moderator of a BMW forum would try to sell his spot for a profit, I understand people are free to do what they want, but I don't feel like its right he should be stripped of his moderator privileges and banned....if he didn't want it he should have just passed it up from the beginning and gotten his $ back... .02
