Probably before the end of February if it is en route. Ship trip takes about 4 weeks.

Yep, Neil's yelling did the trick. The woman helping at South Bay also helped a good deal.

It's supposed to be here in SoCal within the next three weeks.

Well, that is still a different story from what we have been hearing, where no dealers will be getting any cars before the end of March.
If it sits on your dealer's lot, that is something new.

Not a chance. If I already signed the papers denoting that the car was mine and it was going to be sitting on the dealer's lot for a month, I'd rent a tow truck. Sneak in at night, tow it to my house and then figure out some way to acquire keys for it. It wouldn't be stolen because it's your car afterall.

it most likely will, but BMW has thrown out some surprises with this launch. So who knows until someone actually has the car in their possession.

I just spoke with BMW customer service, and they said the tentative launch date is March 8. No mention of March 29. He also said they hold back all their new cars until an official launch date, so apparently this is no different.

Now that's a much more realistic date! Mine just got out of production yesterday and is awaiting transport...
