The enhanced sound is definately bad. 335i and other M cars gets Logic7 standard. Not a fan of that at all! $1900 is beastly. I wonder if that is the only audio option or Logic 7 is an option at regular 3-series prices. Quote:

Yeah, I got so excited last night and made so many posts that I've lost my ability to read posts in full.

Yes, too bad there's not a Logic7 audio option like in other countries. I'd just as soon get base and do aftermarket enhancements later than spring for $1,900.

Logic 7 is a $1200 option on regular three series. And for the M5/6 High-End Audio is $700. Which obviously equals $1900.
How can BMW give the M3 the lowest-end option for audio???

On my E46 I did a DIY and replaced my speakers, amp and added a 12" subwoofer. That was a hella day of work. Parts cost me ~$800, all ebayed, mostly a/d/s. It sounded great until the amp died (I didn't mount it with enough ventilation, it was in the trunk below the trunk floor). I had one of the "better" local shops put a new amp in. I had to teach them how to adjust the gains to avoid hissing and I still have a slight ground loop. I'm afraid to drill a new hole to ground it and fix it. If you live near a good audio shop, bless you, but I'm screwed. Oh, and my speakers "fit" but now the doors squeak ever so slightly because they're clipped a bit off tolerance according to my dealer. Moral of the story -- aftermarket is only good with qualified people. I'm not one, and it seems that no one else in New Orleans is either. I envy people who live near a shop that knows what they are doing. |

Is that premium package number correct? So we would be getting power mirrors, trim, assist, bluetooth, compass, garage door opener just for an additional $450 on top of the regular leather? If so, that's a great deal.

a smidge under 73k otd for me, the premium sound price is ridiculous, i'm starting to think if i really need it, 1.9k for a stock radio is kinda ridiculous, especially considering they force you in to buying navi or tech package to even get it in the first place a big

Yes, it is. Just verified with my CA. That and the Tech Pkg are quite a bit less than I thought.

ZTP is a decent deal as well, Nav-2100, EDC-1000, CA-500 = $3600 plus whatever Mdrive costs.
