The extended chin spoiler and lowered ride height make this M3 a mobile spade. Interesting that they got rid of the rear diffuser and raised the bootlid spoiler... probably generates more downforce but with increased drag.
Wonder whether they are comparing this modded M3 to the GT-R. It did say Ericsson M480 Concept on the rear plate... 480bhp? Last edited by dechoong; 01-10-2008 at 06:31 AM. |

For the love of ///M3

I think we have an idea of how a CSL version could look, with a better rear spolier and not so much chin.

one thing i noticed about the gt-r from the first pic is how square the rear really is. kinda reminds me of a caddy. not a good thing.

Finally something worthy to look at. I find it funny that some people think the car is overdone. When initially everyone clamored that the current car did not have enough it factor. Nonetheless, you can see the HUGE potential this car has. Yes. compared to the GTR, the M3 is strikingly smoother, classier, and just the better looking. If its the slower of the bunch I could really care less. Really most of us will never be driving 9-10/10's all day everyday.

Nice post. Thanks for sharing.
![]() I am curious about the exhaust on this car........any info? With the ride height the way it is and the extended front lip, this thing would get jacked up on the regular roads. |

You'd have to kill me to do any of this to my car with the exception of the wheels. The boot looks particularly repulsive. Are those really BBS wheels? Any specs?
Are these the ones? Do they have the right offsets for the M3? http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...4x032&code=yes |

I think the rear bumper looks awesome.... why couldn't BMW do that instead of having the muffler stand out below the busy-looking stock bumper?
This car has kind of a CLK "black series" look (sorry) ![]() |
