Thanks for the video. I have never noticed the red line at 6200 rpm and then the second redline at 8400. I thought that it was just wide open to 8400 rpm. Is there a recommendation to keep the car under 6200 rpm?

Does the redline look like it is less than 8400 to anyone? I have been noticing this for some time on the dial. It almost looks in the exact same place as the M5/M6. The line just doesn't look like it is at 8400. Too far away from the 8500 mark.

Is the first red line at 6200rpm anything to do with the run-in period because I see the orange starts at the 5500rpm that you are meant to stick to for the first 1500miles.
South what do you think? |

Yeah, that is definately halfway between 8000 and 8500. Why increase the redline and be cheap about it and use the same part as on the M5/6. Total crap. I can't believe BMW is being so second-rate about things.
