Another stupid comment from you...

Actually, what Neil linked us to is just the Metro and JR lines in Tokyo which is about 1/8th of ALL train system in the city.

As I said many times -- you read your crap and your internet stuff -- but the only way to experience it is to go there...

One day you will realize that.

Again, Tokyo has over 120 train lines in the city...

To add:

"There are 101 passenger train lines serving Tokyo Prefecture, and 18 more serving the metropolitan area but not Tokyo Prefecture, for a total of 119 serving Greater Tokyo"

If you just typed the right thing in the search field...

Then I guess we would need to add all the rail services that service the New York metro area like the LIRR, NJ Transit, CT rail, Amtrak, etc...

This is pointless because you have failed to explain why rail is "more advanced" than roads.

I am saudi arabian and feel that iran does have some issues but lack of freedom is not one of them. Thats just a ploy created by the american media to try and get u to think that the nation is imprisoned.

Sure. Amnesty International in part of the ploy.

ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN
...

Scores of political prisoners, including prisoners of conscience, were arrested. Others continued to be held in prolonged detention without trial or were serving prison sentences imposed after unfair trials. Some had no access to lawyers or family. Freedom of expression and association continued to be restricted by the judiciary, and scores of students, journalists and intellectuals were detained. At least 113 people, including long-term political prisoners, were executed, frequently in public and some by stoning, and 84 were flogged, many in public.

And I agree here again

Can't wait to visit Atlanta and to meet with you and get drunk

I am jet lagging...talk to you later

As for China, I am not sure what will happen. They do not have work ethics and discipline to succeed, but on the other hand they have money and support, so...

I have seen their cities grow from slumps to metropolis in last 10 years, but there are no rules in traffic, they are loud, they will always sell fake crap, they spit all the time, and so on... I am sure Beijing will look impressive next year for the Olympics event, but what will happen after that...we'll have to wait and see...
I think that discipline is very important...especially when there is almost 2B of them.

People in Iran are about as free as American people. There are some minor differences in exactly what freedoms they have, but both are spied on by their government, both execute prisoners, both trample on the most basic human rights and both mix religion with politics.

exactly!
Both have bad propagandas against each other, and in the US, we find more humane phrases for bad things we do -- for example, killing innocent civilians in another country -- we call it a colleteral damage. If others do it -- we call it ethnic clinsing and/or butchering and so on...

politics...

dr325 and MAX are obviously LIBERALS. Hey, somebody has to do it, we can't all be the same. It wouldn't be any fun then.
Seriously though, some of your comments are opinion, and I respect them and understand your point, but many are just FALSE and have proven to be false over and over during the history of our country.

Saying that Iran and US citizens have about the same freedoms is RIDICULOUS. No, let me rephrase, it's IGNORANT to say the least.
I've seen MANY interviews with Iranians that live there now, and others that have moved here. It's night and day.
You libs are just trying to twist and contort the facts just because you don't like the Patriot act.
Typical libs you are- you complain about the sacrafices we have to make to keep this country safe and free, yet as soon as something happens, you will be the first ones to criticize our President for not protecting us.
We have had no attacks since 9/11. Bush and the administration has made mistakes, many, but probably no more or less than any other administration would have made. Let's not forget that the DEMS voted for this war too.
It's a new enemy, something this country has never faced before on this level. It's not BUSH's fault that it didn't work, its our entire countries fault.
We have learned our lesson. Now, let's clean up the mess the best we can, bring our military home as soon as possible, and stick with AIR STRIKES when it comes to those cowards we call terrorists.
