Price is negotiable so make me an offer. I wanted to give Bimmerpost members the first crack at this. If there is no interest it will go on eBay and sell to the highest bidder. The car has about 95500 miles on it. Last week the engine decided to call it quits. You can read full details here. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1006152 As you can see from the video in that thread, it does still run, but obviously has some issues. My bad luck is going to be someone's good fortune. I don't know what went wrong and don't want to invest the money to find out because I have a new car coming in about a month. But someone with the right skills and knowledge can probably do it themselves and maybe actually enjoy it in the process. There are no other mechanical issues. Here are the specs:

I threw out a number as a starting point. Feel free to make me an offer. I really have no idea what the market will bear on this - no data available.
Right? About now I wish it were a coupe or even a sedan. Would be perfect for a track car project. I have a feeling that getting the engine in shape is going to be mostly labor costs, and you'd be doing the complete tear down anyway for a race car. |

I am definitively interested in knowing what was wrong with the car and how it was fixed. 17,500 for an M3 even if you have to work on it is a steal.
