United 100 fuel
Hi all,
In WA we have a servo chain United that sells 100 octane fuel (not sure if they are over east). Anyone running it? It's not much more than 98. |

I always get 98 but the other week I drove down to rockingham for work. Naturally I had to stop for fuel on the way back. I pumped 100 octane. I gave the car a bit of a ride on the way back into town and it felt that slight little tinge smoother. It also came across as if it lasted longer too. I got a few more KMs out of it according to the km tracker that I reset each time I fill up.
I don't know if it was purely coincidental but that one I filled it, it almost indicated that 100 will last longer and give a smooth effect. |

I try and stay away from United, some of their servos look so run down. (The ones in SA and a couple that I've seen in Melbourne). Whenever I can I get 98 from BP

I've been using it for about 8 months now. It definitely feels smoother and also a tad more responsive at higher RPMs. In WA, it drops down in price on Wed/Thu - works out less than BP98.

I'll give it a go, usually only use V-power
Got a gruppe M exhaust coming next week and adding the evolve overrun/burble tune so I have to stick to a fuel for them to tune for. Loud times ahead ![]() |

![]() Catch is evolve lock the DME as far as I know so you need a tune + the overrun/burble feature added on. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...935493&page=13 Lots to read! It can be custom tuned as much as you like, on the E46 M3 I'm expecting shift pops also ![]() Sorry to thread jack. |
