Helix or Alpine PXA-H800?

Which processor is the better fit for E90 with EPS? How good is the auto tune in the Alpine? will it auto tune while moving?

Plans are:

Helix or Alpine with optical input from MOST-bus ($700)
JL Audio 600/6 with Technic harness out to OEM wiring to speaker locations ($600)
Focal separates up front ($430)
remove HF drivers from rear doors and rear deck, turn off center
MB quart under seat band pass ($219)
JL 10-W3-4 sub in musicar enclosure ($225)

Wiring and installation by me.

Any advice on anything? Looking for SQ at 80mph as I live on the interstate 20hours a week.

Hi,

strong selection of components!

If yo want to go the MOST way yo need the Mobridge to decode the signal = additional cost..

I would do this:

Helix DSP w. Technic harness in from OEM wiring
JL Audio 600/6 w. Technic harness out to OEM wiring to speaker locations
Focal separates up front + MB quart under seat band pass
OR -> Helix Match 3 way in the front (done one installation already - good)
OR -> Gladen 3 way in the front (done one installation already - good)

JL 10-W3-4 sub in musicar enclosure

No need for the features of the Alpine when you anyway kill center and rear speakers.
You should go full active with the 600/6 and take the time to lay extra cables to the front, it is worth it.

Enjoy any solution you take, it will be a huge update!

Thanks for the help. I can't get Technic to reply to PMs so I don't know how to get his harnesses. I will probably have to make my own. Its not hard (I make my own airing harnesses for stand alone engine management).

Where can I buy the MoBridge online? What about the Match3 and Gladen separates?

What do you mean full active on the 600/6? Separate channel to each driver and use the active crossovers in the amp as opposed to the factory designed passive crossovers that come with the components?

I hate running wiring through that door connector so thats not going to work.
