Detailer

Need recommendations for a top notch detailer. The M3 needs a paint correction done(multi step) and the newborn is minimizing what time I have so time to punt the ball. I'm located in Milwaukee, WI so it needs to be someone close or mobile. I wrote to Connor Harrison already but would like alternatives since trying to do this ASAP. Thanks.

I have no experience with these guys, but they seem to be a step above "some kid with a Porter-Cable":

Both do OptiCoat, FYI.

if you want to put some time in...using a porter cable 7424 and some menzerna polish will do wonders for the car. It really isnt all that hard, just very time consuming.

Yea I have a PC DA and used the Menzerna that you had recommended Nick. However, it wasn't abrasive enough. When Connor came by, he had to use his most aggressive pad and compound because it seems the previous owner might have been using a harsh brush to wash the car(the sides were horrendous). I ended up assisting him and collectively it was like 22 hours total detailing the vehicle. Also did cQuartz and the results are very good. There are some spots that requires a rotary but I didn't want to keep investing more time/money to get it absolutely perfect since it's a daily driver. It's about 90% there and so far so good. I did install a SC though so it's all good. Im hoping to make it out to the next Chitownm meet.
