M3 E92 on Snow & Ice (BMW training)

Here are some pictures from a snow & ice training course I took last year in China. The training facility is a snow & ice testing centre jointly run by the China government and a Swedish company called ATM, which also runs the world famous Arjeplog testing centre.

The panorama of the tracks.

The ATM workers were maintaining the tracks.

Some of the tracks were actually on a frozen lake

The M3 fleet

Spike tyres were installed on M3s to provide better transaction on snow and ice. It is really a good way to learn how to handle cars, especially rear-wheel drive performance cars on an icy condition.

The whole fleet and the rest area. Cars used in basic level training are 328i, and M3s are for advanced level.

Going sideways too much would be costly.

u r right.that's not the only one losing side skirt(s). the snow wall was not very tall but could be too much for M3's low profile.
