I just don't think they how they conduct themselves is professional. It certainly has lead me away from purchasing their products, but I must admit a few of their wheel designs I really like!

Designs are definitely nice and quality has allegedly improved (only time will tell), but unethical business practices is the problem. Why would I support a company that refers to their business as "murdering the game"?

Couldn't agree more.

And here is the point of my thread. Listen, ADV1 does make some nice looking wheels in my opinion. And some of their setups I have seen look really good. And I know people who have their wheels and like them. But here is my issue. When your marketing campaign (and presumably business model) is predicated on some bravado that you "are the wheel industry" and everyone copies you and you are the only original wheel company, and then you literally do a setup that a another wheel company just did -- i.e., brushed red wheels on an F10 M5 like mine....that's what gets me.

For example, imagine that I started a thread about how everyone in the BMW M world copies me and jocks my style. How I am the trendsetter with HREs, Performance seats, Brembos, Akrapovic exhausts....meanwhile, you have guys like Powerbeast, JEllis, Slicer, Malek, the whole ACM crew, Creaminz, Esquire, etc. who preceded me and who have just as sick -- if not much better setups than I will ever have. When I got sent that post yesterday about how ADV1 was murdering the M5 game -- posted on ADV1's own instagram account -- with brushed red wheels, it made me laugh and cringe at the same time. I just feel like ADV1 talks a whole lot of shit and doesnt back it up.

In the words of the great American literary giant, Samuel Clemens...aka Mark Twain: "It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt."

How can you claim that every other company copies styles and designs but then you blatantly do that and post it on your own social media website?

Khandom? Any explanation?
I have yet to see an original design from those guys lol. This is hilarious.

pretty ridiculous to claim a color as copying another company, since there has been silver wheels before adv1 started in business or even 360 forged, should they not make silver wheels? lol

I would never put those tacky anchors on any of my cars. Let alone one with any sort of sporting tendencies.

And who is making you read the thread? The man that takes the time to respond to a thread he thinks is pointless is saying for someone to get a life? Pot? Kettle?

As much as you make sense, unfortunately your opinions mean very little to the broader scope of audience ADV have reached. They are viewed as a premium wheel company currently.

We can moan and bitch on m3post but it sure is hell ain't stopping them selling 10k set of wheels to a dude in a Lamborghini.

My suggestion is move on. At least you have gotten your point across in this board.
