Enter to Win a Sonax All Season Detail Kit worth $157!

Enter to Win a Sonax All Season Detail Kit worth $157!!

Sonax All Season Detail Kit

This kit came to us because we were missing a service in our shop. We found we were so focused on paint correction and higher end jobs that we were missing the boat on routine maintenance and customers that were not interested in the "WORKS" on their daily driven vehicles. Through this service we figured the DIYer would benefit from this kit.

The Sonax All Season Detail Kit focuses on easy, routine maintenance and detail work on a daily driven vehicle. This is just the basics for exterior and interior.

Benefits
1. It can be used by the DIY or the Pro Detailer.
2. It can be used by hand or by machine.
3. It's a kit to maintain your paint's finish and interior.
4. Great for the person that does not have time to correct paint but wants to add shine and protect their paint.

In today's time we focus so much on paint correction which is great but if you don't have the time, the funds, or the desire this is a great way to maintain and protect your finish.

This kit includes:

1 Uber Hex Grip Hand Applicator ---------------------------> $7.45
4 Uber All Purpose Microfiber Towels -----------------------> $19.96
4 Uber Interior Microfiber Towels -----------------------------> $23.96

I've used the sonax wheel spray that a lot are raving about on this board. It's not meeting my expectations. I am far better off cleaning my wheels with a citrus base APC like adam's. The sonax stuff :
- has a strong unpleasant (hazardous ?) chemical smell
- the spray nozzle is designed as a jet spray because it's a thick gel which ends up wasting a lot of product and you have to use a brush to spread it. Don't count on that to detail your wheels, you'll still have to use an APC after that or shampoo.
- It is useless if you have a car that you wash normaly or even a couple times a year. Maybe the only use of this product is if you had an old car with baked in dirt for years on the wheels and never cleaned.
- Exposition to oxygen and brake dust turns the sonax to brown. Apparently that is a good marketing feature.
- the bottle is ridiculously small and expensive

You listed all the reasons why you don't need it which you are right about. This product does work, isn't meant for maintained wheels but actually baked on brake dust wheels that have never been cleaned or barely ever, isn't the most cost effective compared to apc or other dedicated wheel cleaners, color change is meant to show the product working to remove iron particles (reddish purple color), and finally just like the other wheel cleaners in this category it can't smell like bubble gum if it's going to be effective.

you should be getting 3 sets of wheels out of it. making each time you use it on your car about $5.00.

this product is safe on your wheels. there is no acid in it to hurt the clear coat on them.

apc has some acids in them and will fade/dull your clear coat over time.

the sonax is not a spray on spray off product at all, for best results you need to use a brush to agitate.
