Sedan side skirt extention

After searching the forum and google I'm hoping for some guidance on CF side skirt extensions for e90's. Anyone have good or bad experiences? I have yet to see one website that advertises these specifically for the e90 either. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have the Platte Forme AG sideskirt extensions on my e90. Quality is great, but they made to order.

When you bought them did you look anywhere else for options or already knew the manufacturers quality?

OP I got a set from LTBMW and they came out great as well. Fitment was spot on. No instructions but pretty straight once you do a dry fit.

These had mounting holes, but if you want to make extra sure these stayed on we drilled a few more holes just in case as well as used double sided tape.

Final part is they didn't break the bank.

I have the platte forme a.g. Side skirts on my E90 M3 for about a year now. Fit is perfect, installation is easy. Had to reinstall one side about 6 months ago but since then no problems.

Yes Platte Forme A.G. is the only legitmate choice for E90...

Really sucks that we have no options..

Gintani has mentioned that there will be a E90 application coming in JAN supposedly.... whether that comes to fruition I am very eager to know..

Really great info. I will be on the look out to see what Gintani creates. The platte form ag. are just crazy expensive, but really want the look too, so guess I'm stuck.

OP as I mentioned LTBMW is where I got my side skirt extensions for my E90. Not sure why you dont reach out to them.

Fitment was perfect and I think I spent 700 on them and a hundred or so of that was to get them overnighted.

These aren't close up pics but at least you can see what they look like. You can move the skirts in or out depending on if you want them to sit flush or have them stick out. I went for the flushed look.

Finish was perfect and I am very happy with the end result. Just make sure you have a trustworthy shop of installing them and making sure they stay on.

Mode Carbon also makes extensions. Pretty sure they have E90 application.

Edit: Nevermind.

Man, even on special a grand+ shipping is a ton off dough for something like that.

Will someone buy them, use them for a week, then sell me them for half price?

Pretty please?

I must agree its certainly not a "bang for the buck" mod at any stretches of imagination

However this is strictly a supply and demand issue on-hand... Only 2 companies stepped up to offer dedicated applications for the E90 and hence the pieces are priced the way they currently are..

There are much cheaper "off the shelf" options available (Universal "straight CF strip" design made to fit E90s) but at the end of the day.. that just wasnt what I wanted... especially on a M car

So are they available now or about to come out? Will you pm me pricing? Also, please just make shipping free and mark up cost of goods. I hate paying for shipping.

Side-skirts made in actual carbon fiber are expensive because they use 3-4 times the raw material than a lip

As I mentioned.. There are different designs (Straight vs Contoured) out there with different price levels... and lets not get into the whole "who paid most / least" thing

Happy modding boys and girls
