Im planning on painting my wheels black, what type of paint do you guys recommend?

Unless you can strip the wheels down to the bare metal, and have a very clean area to do the painting, it's going to start chipping/flaking soon and might end up looking pretty lousy.

Many wheels are factory powdercoated and I'd say go that route. A local powdercoater will blast the wheels clean and then coat them. You can get it done for under $500.

FYI - There is some debate as to the safety of powder coating forged wheels. It can be done without issue if the powder coaster doesn't do so at too high of a temperature. BBS doesn't powder coat any of their wheels for this reason. HRE uses powder coat but does so at a low temperature.
