Oil for E92 M3??

So on my drive back to college I got a message saying my engine oil level is low. The dealership is closed on Sunday and there is no dealer in Manhattan, KS. I won't be back home for at least a few weeks, so is there any way to order the oil? I just need to too it off for now, then I plan on getting an oil change as soon as I'm back. My plan is to just take it super easy on the car and drive it as little as possible, but like I said can I order the oil from somewhere? I know I shouldn't just to to your average oil change place.

Any BMW LL-01 oil can be used for top-off (or changes for that matter).

Mobil 1 0w40, Castrol Edge 0w40, and Valvoline SynPower 5w40 all carry LL-01 and are available at auto parts stores.

Check out RMEuropean.com. They have great prices and I just ordered seven quarts for my 330 a few days ago.

I'm having the same issue. My dealer is about an hour drive. Should I load up on EDGE professional 10w60 for now and for the future or just top off with EDGE 0w40 all the time between changes?

You should always keep a liter of TWS in the trunk. I have a small box in the trunk with various small tools, oil, tire plug kit, etc. The tire plug kit and little air compressor have saved me several times. Seriously though, no spare tire and jack in these cars??

Correct, no spare tire or jack. You get a compressor and can of fix-a-flat. Most other BMWs have run-flats, which is better/worse depending on how you look at it.
