Has Anyone Been To Curry's Since Mr. Tire Bought Them?

Having trouble finding a shop North of Baltimore to install new tires. I used to drive over to Curry's in Gaithersburg, but I'm a little leery now.

RRT is a bit of a hike for me, but I'll do it if it's the best option.

Atspeed in Hanover did a really good job with mine. They did a better balancing job then the dealership and ended up getting rid of a slight vibration at highway speed. Their labor is kinda up there but they ordered and price matched tirerack for my PSS's.

Thank you Sir! I don't mind paying more for installation as long as the tire install is balanced well.

Thank you. The more good shop recommendations the better (especially since I'm not from the area). I'll give them a call on Monday as well. Looks like both spots are about the same distance from me.

I have. They did a tire swap & remount and an alignment on my track car, just prior to my Jefferson Circuit weekend at the end of September. The work was up to their usual standard of excellence.

They gave me a ride to work (in Tyson's during rush hour, no less!) so I had time to talk to the mechanic. He said Mr. Tire's goal is to keep things at Curry's just as they have been. They recognize the goodwill the place has in the enthusiast community.

So, I'll keep going there, and see whether it holds true. So far, so good.

I live in MD (Bel Air) and have always taken my wheels/tires to Mr.Tire. No issues to date. Professionally installed.

Agreed. For tire installation I've had better luck at Mr. Tire than anywhere else I've gone. Never a scratch on my wheels unlike some other places around here.

Ya gotta love their coupons though.

Crazy what stealers get away with for Road Force balancing!

Only difference I noticed was Currys Alexandria told me they wouldn't do tech inspections right after the sale happened. I just called up Currys Arlington and got one done. Not sure if that policy has changed for either location since August.
