Eid Mubarak!!

I'd like to wish everyone a happy eid. It is a muslim holiday marking the end of the Islamic holy month ramadan where muslims fast from sun-up to sun-down. It was a hard month with it being in the summer( The islamic calendar follows the lunar calendar so the month moves back 2-3 weeks every year from the Gregorian (sp?) calendar). The day is marked with praying for yourself/all of humanity as well as spending time with family, presents for the kiddies, and good FOOD. I am, unfortunately stuck at work and on call in the hospital. Stupid residency. Next year I will surely get the M3 some gifts for eid.

I hope every one has a nice day.

Cool. Thanks for the info. Excuse my ignorance, but I thought Ramadan was often started in November. I specifically remember how affected basketball players would be during the month.

Read a whole three sentences deep into this thread and you'll find your answer.
