How much faster is a GT-R than an M3 video

Wow.

The GT-R even gave the M3 the hit. I hope the new M3 has more for the price.

I knew the GT-R would be faster but damn!

The GT-R isn't even in the same category or price range. I doubt the new M3 will be competitive with an GT-R either. That just isn't the purpose of the M3.

This surprises you? That's concerning if so. The GTR is one of the fastest production cars period, it's downsides are a lower standard of fit and finish, increased nvh and there is no sedan. But clearly if you want to be faster than 99.99 percent of cars rather than just 99% then it's one helluva buy and in a different performance league to the M3, Carrera 2, RS4, C63 etc

How mutch faster is the GTR ?
Well i can tell you..i had a live experience next to me at a traffic light last year...
And i can tell you too that i can drive my ///M3 with DCT and i was prepared in S5 , MDM on in sport plus ,and have new PSS tires !
The result was to get a depression in my ///M3, i shifted first...second and third gear to 8,000 rpm and had the feeling that i was moving in slow motion seeing the GTR pulling out of my view and than there was....nothing....gone man !!!
BTW...let us not forget that the GTR beats almost every super car,so this can be a consolation for all of us,but i was very quiet after this pull,and i would never try it again..wasted effort !!!

GT-R got the jump and the M3 driver miss shifted. Also, M3 wasn't updated with 240E and performance filter. Outcome could have been very different..

Are you retarded? A REAL 1/4, 1/2, 1 or even 2 mile race is always from the dig. Any race that is from a roll doesn't mean anything. If you can't hook from the dig then all the power is for nothing.

It's like saying let's put your car (assuming it is still the one with the mods in your sig) up for a race against a 700hp supra, from the dig will most likely kill it cos of hooking and the aerodynamics of the M3 but if it's from 20+ then he will slaughter you.

Just as my M3 to Supra comparison, this M3 to GT-R comparison is whack. Completely different league of cars. It is like putting a 1500hp GT-R up against a Bugatti, I couldn't care less if the GT-R will win all day, it is NOT stock for stock and I would much rather have the car and lifestyle to go with the Bugatti.

AND all of them are automatic AKA auto tragic.. Meaning I dont give a shit how fast it goes... I put a beat down on all of them on Forza 4 and I literally can call them slow ass pigs in the game.

On top of that it looks horrendous = not my cup of tea. Already been through the Nissan chain of vehicles and would never go back.

To each their own.

I have a hard time agreeing with you on this point... Real world driving is not from a dig. Do you use your launch control often at stop lights? I don't. I personally think mid-range power is where the enjoyment comes from and "means the most". Only Americans care about 1/4 and 0-60 times. Everyone wants different things but I just don't care that much about how quick my car is from a dig; I'm much more concerned about mid-range and track performance. GTR will of course still beat the M3 in those measures but the M3's practicality and fun-factor is hard to beat. Don't get me wrong I would have a GTR right now if the price were equal to the M3. However I'm not convinced that I wouldn't find myself missing the M3.
