I like my Megan exhaust but just about everyone in my office building parking garage hates it, including building security. My new game is to see how many car alarms I can set off before I get to the 4th level where I park. Since this thing really booms at low speeds, the reverberation from the garage amplifies the sound 100% so it's damn loud. I'm torn between keeping it because I work in a very conservative and professional environment, which isn't the best fit for a loud ass M3; however, i enjoy the hell out of the sound on my personal time. Decisions, decisions...

When I was in college I had a Z-TT. The exhaust was like that and I parked in a garage for a co-op. It sounded so awesome, but I did set off car alarms. If you do decide to sell it PM me. I have a buddy who lives in FT Worth and comes down here a lot.

TP's will bring drone/bass down to a good bit. I park in a garage too at my apartment, driving in 2nd gear makes a huge difference so try it out.

So, where is the best place to buy the exhaust once they are in stock. I can wait a month or two. Not in a huge rush.

Do you mean that adding TP's will lessen the boominess/drone?

Thats exactly what I mean. When I added my TP's the drone was cut significantly. Its weird but true. Only drone is at exactly 2k, after wards there is none. The sound after the TP install is so much better too. Its a must IMO if you already have a Megan.

You made my day! I just picked up turner tp's. I feel the megan is a little boomy down low. Doesnt bother me much but I want a snappier and aggressive tone with less droney boom.

Its still bassy under 2k but right after it goes away and it sings. 3800-4000k is my favorite. Seriously sounds like a instrument horn like a trumpet. You will see what I mean soon as you install the TP's. Keep me posted

You're going with TP and OEM mod? Have you ever heard it in person? It's pretty damn loud.
