My car is CPO (Certified Pre Owned) and it has the full warranty until 100K or April 2015. I pay a $50.00 deductible (which was waived by the dealership) for any warranty work.

Both of mine were covered under the CPO plan.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but did any of you pull the bmw error codes before you had actuators replaced? If so, what were the codes?

I'm getting a "CDBF - throttle valve actuator CAN bank 1" and was thrown into limp mode twice now....but it's intermittent.

I didn't pull the codes but I think I remember seeing that same verbiage from someone else who's had the issue. Sounds like your Bank 1 has failed.

My car also had a TVA failure on bank 1. Scary part is I'm only at 30k miles, thank god for warranty otherwise the repair bill cost $2120.78.

That's crazy what the dealer wants to replace one... Its a $715 part + labor. With a little know-how you can do it yourself and save a ton of money.
