I'm sure as hell not. I think the new m3/m4 looks fugly and I'm very disappointed with the power #s they're quoting. Everyone else is marketing 500+hp at this level, 440 is so old school.

POwer means absolutely nothing. Atleast to me. I would rather drive a 2000 pound car with 250 hp than a 4000 pound car with 500hp. The new m3 is light, has more torque and more horsepower than the current m3. Just wait until the tunes, downpipes, fmic, etc come out. E85 or methanol injection

ya maybe, being light is always great and all, but I hear its 'only' like 200kg or something? I'm sure it will be very quick, but I'd take a heavier car if it looks as damn sexy as the e92

Still if this twin turbo for the s65 is legit, IMAGINE THE GAINS on a v8. it'll be supercharger level i'm sure.

gains on a TT kit will actually be MUCH more than a supercharger kit. Only thing limiting it will probably be the internals!

Why not just put the S63tu? (bmw's twin turbo v8 if I got it wrong) in the e92 rather than do all this work to add them to the s65?

cost first of all. Second theyre completely different engines. S63 is a 4.4 liter v8 that revs to 7200 rpm where as the s65 is a 4 liter v8 that revs to 8400 rpms. People want the high redline of the s65 and dont want to have to remove engine redo wiring and fuss with everything else that is involved in an engine swap. They have completely different ecu's so thats another hurdle. Also, theoretically gintanis kit will be be bolt on. So all you have to do is bolt on the manifold and turbos and upgraded fuel injectors and load up their tune ( all assumed since we do not know for sure). That is much easier than dealing with an engine swap, re wiring, and other things involved with engine swap. Also the transmissions are different from e90 to f10 so i bleieve that would be another thing that would have to be addressed. Gintani makes good products and im sure this will turn out great, just might take longer than expected

I am tired of seeing unreasonable wishful thinking about a 2,000 pound M3 when we all know street legal cars that have to pass crash tests. I would never buy a M3 (or any street car) that weighs less than 2,500+ pounds for security reasons. The stock M3 is not a pure track car. 99.9% of M3 owners do not need/want a light car (only 0.1% track rats). And stop putting light weight as the solution. The fastest street car on a track the GT-R weighs more than the E92. Personally I don't give a damn if the car weight up to 3900 lbs as long as it can handle and power its weight. If you get hit by a big SUV or truck and you are in a 2000 pound car most of the shock energy is going to accelerate your car and your neck. If that is not evident to you, imagine a soccer ball being kicked hard and see how much acceleration the ball gets at impact. Now replace the soccer ball with a heavier ball.

Besides that what you told here about safety is completely untrue, this shows exactly what's wrong with M. It's the buyers. No offense of course.

Isn't Raz supposed to post things like that? BTW that LB Performance widebody looks like utter shit. In this case it kind of makes sence as they need more space to put wider tires, but whomever else that buys it needs to remind himself that he doesn't have to turn his car into a Civic-level boyracer automobile.

Umm not choosing sides here but you say its a hideous body kit, its not even on the car.. Someone is holding up a flared fender to the car.. And that yellow bar is the lift.. Its just sitting low. Regardless if this kit gets up and running, many people would have a big change of heart.. Same like max psi kit on the stock dme.. Many hated and when it finally was up and running, those same congratulated. The picture is not to show progress, its show there is still hope
