I bought an 05 E90 320i which I love, but has currently thrown up a cam sensor fault code and started top make a dodgy noise around the inlet manifold.
Will be posting a thread requesting help on this shortly. |

My first BMW was one that my parents bought while stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. It was a 1996 BMW 328is, montreal blau with gray cloth interior. I was 17 when they bought it, and just got my license. The car was loaded and I loved everything about it, except it was automatic. I learned to drive in that car and that is was the most awesome car, ever! After a month of ownership, my Dad was deployed to Bosnia, and I got to drive it as often as possible!
5 years later in 2001, they gave to me as a graduation gift from West Point. I personally owned it for about a year, until I saw this 1997 Silver M3 and made the trade....it has been BMW in my blood ever since.

My first BMW was a 1997 328is...jet black with tan. I was hooked after that car. Lots of fond memories but the best was probably road tripping from Houston to Indianapolis with my buddy for the first USGP there back in 2000! Later, replaced it with a black on black 2002 330 coupe...black on black. Next was a 2003 E46 M3 Jerez on black. Next up was the current one, a 2008 E92 M3 Black over tan. All have been true manual transmissions. Next year, I'll replace the E92 with an F82 M4, and for the first time go with DCT. Not sure what color combo yet.

1995 - 1997....spent first two years of high school living in Schweinfurt and going to Wurzburg, then the best two years of my life in Heidelberg! Talk about your road trips in high school!

E90 LCI + ZCP + BMW Perf. Spoiler = the best E9X IMO. Well, except for the CRT (minus all the weird red stuff.)
OT: my first BMW is a 2010 E90 328i. The first BMW I've ever ridden in is an E30 323i or just a 323...I don't know, all I know is that it's a 323...I'm not very well versed in E30's |

My first BMW experience was in my in-laws 525xi. It was nice but nothing I'd ever own. Now I am the proud owner of my first BMW, a 2009 E92 M3, DCT. I can honestly say it is the best car I've ever owned and certainly not my last bimmer.

Nothing yet! First BMW in the family was my dad's 2009 M5. That car got me interested into buying my own. Currently interested in 535i, contemplating to buy new or slightly used.

Back in 2003 I bought my first BMW. It was a silver 2001 540i with sports package. I fell in love with the brand and never looked back.
A year later my better half bought a 2001 325ci with 5 spd and I got ActiveAutowerke supercharger on it. The quest continued to 2006 X5 4.8is in Lemans Blue (Lemoned for air suspension) 2003 M5 in Lemans Blue (sold and still miss it) 2008 M5 in Saphire Black (sold and don't miss it) 2011 335D in Lemans Blue (Other half's car- still have it) 2013 M5 in Azurite Black (This one might be a keeper) First European Delivery. We have 3 of them today (kept the alpine white e46) and I dont think we are going anywhere else. Despite issues here and there, this is a great company and they have always taken care of us. Planning on getting the F15 next year.

My first
BMW will be an F30 330d M Sport in Blue.
Never owned one before, i'm coming from an 08 Saab 93 Aero Sportswagen, which although dynamically was nowhere near the class of the field was a damn good car. Went for a drive in a friends 320d last month and was impressed by every aspect of the car, though did think it could do with more power hence me opting for the 330d. I've got to say that BMW have been excellent in my dealings with them, doing exactly what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it and letting me know what was happening as the order progressed. I'm taking delivery, apparently, on the 25th October and have a weekend in North Yorkshire planned with the girlfriend the weekend after so i'll be looking to test out the 'ultimate driving machine' claim on some of the roads up there, if anyone has any preferences for decent driving roads near Aysgarth, North Yorkshire can they let me know please? If anyone's interested i'll post a few pics of the car when she arrives. I've got to say, i'm really excited, i feel like a kid waiting for xmas. |
