Vehicle inspection on idrive?

I already did some google search but couldn't find the answer.

My 11' M3 is due for a "Vehicle Inspection" in 300 miles according to iDrive. However the scheduled oil change is due in less than 2000 miles.

I wonder what exactly that "Vehicle Inspection" is and if I can just delay that to be performed later with the oil change?

Thanks,

j

You can probably get away with waiting, or better yet, get the dealer to do the inspection + oil change now. They're on a 15k schedule anyway, so you should be able to get them to do it with 2k left on the clock, that isn't much.

Inspection likely refers to the Inspection I or Inspection II service that is determined by the ECU. How many miles are on your car?
