Peeling back drivers side carpet

I've done numerous searches on replacing the clutch stop. I've purchased one, but none of the DIY's show how to pull back the carpet. It's pretty well tucked underneath. Is there a trick to get at the clutch stop? Thanks.

Just look underneath. You dnt need to peel anything back. Its a very small black tab compared to the one your are installing.
