Vacuum Line w/ Pressure Sensor

I just had my 2nd failure of part #34302283605 on my 2010 M3 - the brake vacuum line w/ sensor. I didn't see very much commentary on this part in the forums, so maybe I'm just unlucky

Is this a part that people are seeing a lot of issues with? It looks relatively easy to replace yourself - has anyone done it themselves?

I live 80 miles from the nearest service center so when it does happen it's a big ordeal.

How did you know the part had failed?

Well, both times it was service center diagnostics. But the car goes into limp mode when it happens.

The sensor can be damaged by brake fluid, which can happen either when it's ejected from the reservoir during hard driving (if it was overfilled) or if some was spilled during a service. Unfortunately, this brake fluid-sensitive sensor is located directly under the brake fluid reservoir....

Happened to me too once. Now I just ask them to be extra careful about spillage and fill level during brake fluid service.
