I'd get a white on black LP560-4, only if I could have it in a 6 speed. IMO, that eliminates most all of the setbacks to the car

Even being an 09' it still has some advantages over a brand new GT3, what I would buy with that money. It's all weather, it's faster in a straight line (a true 200mph car +), it has that exotic appeal and it has a large established aftermarket. Not to mention some people will prefer the looks and true two seater exotic category it's classed in where the GT3 is, as the title states, a GT car. I'd also much rather have the Gallardo over competitors like the F430, new GTR or 997 Turbo S. It's a really quick, light, incredibly exotic and a beautifully put together car for its depreciated value

Agreed.

Another car looking better is the Lotus Evora S, G, GX, GT, GTE etc.

I just saw a couple with 345 hp and 295tq and there is a special order model with 450hp and 380tq all at 2900 pounds. Easily an E92 M3 killer and looks great....

My next car will either be an R8 or a GT3.

I would go R8. I am not a Porsche fan so Porsche cars aren't even an option for me. But just saw a Lotus thats an R8 killer.

These models are not from factory ? Or are they supercharged aftermarket models ?

Still shopping. Looks like I may get into a 400+hp Supercharged Lotus Evora when I head back west. The Gallardo is nice but I may be buying a second house in Oregon now.

Its sound during start up and idle is another thing to behold. I've only sat in a 2009 LP560-4 and I found the interior to be pretty comfy and visibility is not as bad as I originally presumed. I see only about two Lamborghinis per year where I live whereas M3's I can see on a daily basis. Be prepared to be constantly photographed while driving though but that's just part of the experience. Good luck, and I hope you buy the best car (IMO) ever made.

I think many people overlook this when they think about exotics. It's about so much more than power. Well said man.
