220m wheels. anyone ever ran a 285 on them?

Looking for a new set of rubber. Specifically the potenza re11, was gonna do 245,35,19 and wanted 275,35 but they dont have that size so was gonna do a 285,35. Will it fit flush or would it hang over a little?

I cant find a 265 either so if this wont work ill need to look at another tire.

OEM sizes or maybe 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 Michelin PSS - done. 285's are a little too wide for a 9.5" wheel.

was looking at those sizes in the yokohama neova ad08's; from what i've read they are a solid tire.

Yes they are solid. I have a set of 275/35/19 AD08's with less than 100 miles that I would sell. Send me a PM if you are interested.

If you like sharp handling I'd stick with stock size tires on 220's. I tried plus sizing and hated the neutered feel. Living in LA, I'd pick PSS's...if your M3 is gonna be mainly used on the street.

255s on the 8.5 is to wide for the rim. You can do it but it won't be optimal. Really with the 220s the OEM sizes are perfect.

really now? I want optimal performance as it's my daily driver and in most turns i take it aggressively... lets to say i get the most use out of my tire and car. If that's the case I'll go with 245/265 than.

Keep the OEM sizes for the 220s. You move up to the ZCP or wider wheels then I would make a move to a wider tire.

I am running GTS sizes on my ZCP car. If I had the 220s I would run stock OEMs.
