Guys, you should remember that this forum is not only for US. Here in my country it's easier to find LIQUI MOLY then Castrol. It was really helpful for me reading, now i know that i can replace as i don't have the dealer warranty anymore and buying LM is easier and cheaper.

Now that you know my condition, would you think i really need to keep looking for Castrol?

The e60 M5 guys have had nothing but good things to say now that they've made the switch to liquimoly. I am considering doing the same at next oil service.

Haha look at all these braniacs from the previous page. I wonder what these guys think of some forum members (respected ones at that) running 5W-40.

I run LiquiMoly 10W-60 and I do agree that the temps are slightly lower. And keep in mind I live in South Carolina, where heat and humidity = terrible.

And before anyone crucifies me for not using TWS (God's nectar), here's my oil analysis:

There is also an application list provided by Liqui Moly and it shows e9x M3 if its any credit.
Love this stuff!!!!!!!

I would definitely just use castrol. Although that oil analysis has me thinking..

I put in LiquiMoly GT1 10W60 when I changed the oil recently on my 08M3. It is significantly cheaper and gets very good reviews. I bought 4 jugs and put it in my turbo E36M3 as well.

I bought 10 bottles of this stuff, along with Redline Fluids for my tranny and diff....only to later realize my extended maintenance expires in October 2014...

And the dealer does the yearly oil changes for free as well, included in the maintenance package of my MY08. I guess I'll be keeping the oil until then, but plan to make the switch as soon as period is over.
