Calling out Mike Benvo to the east coast!

Hey everyone,

I may be a jerk for doing this but I wanted to run this by the enthusiasts! I'm sorry if I offend or piss anyone off here.

I want to try and get Mike Benvo to put his money where his mouth is. He showed me his back up camera in his car and I want it. Please post that video here Mike!

Everyone talks about how great he is and I've used his services remotely and how knowledgable he is...I want to see it in person and have a conversation with him.

I am trying to get Mike Benvo out to the east cost. I was going to see if we can get enough interest for him to fly over here to do some installs, tuning and coding. Perhaps spend a day with a group of us and just bombard him with questions.

If we can get enough people to get some coding, tuning, installs done, perhaps he can be persuaded to come this way. His installs are absolutely amazing and so detailed oriented...just perfect.

I was hoping that perhaps ACM could be involved as well since they are the premier shop in the area and for those that have seen their facilities must come check it out.

He can perhaps do Mdrive retrofits, combox retrofits, cic retrofits, DCT tuning, even SMG...I believe he himself owns an M5 that he plays with so perhaps we can get an even broader audience.

If anyone is in on trying to get him over here, let me know and perhaps we can start a list and get a "group" purchase and help lower the traditional cost of installs.

Mike if you are reading this please let me know if you would be interested if we can put something together and what services you would be able to perform for us while visiting the city that never sleeps.

Thanks everyone for listening.

I would be in for a back up camera install and DCT tune. - Anyone else?

Best,
Vin

I know I said the same thing. lol

I met Mike once and he knew his stuff.

Hopefully he comes out if you guys get a bunch of folks together. Hit everyone up at once. I would recommend Mike or EAS for all E9X M3 needs.

Being stuck in Maine there isn't a lot of choices aside from Westbrook BMW. lol

My M3 wont be here until late July or early Aug but I'd be in for some coding. I've seen Mike on the forums a bunch lately and I think an East Coast get together on a weekend at ACM or somewhere similar is a great idea and would be a big hit.

His back up and forward view camera functions while the car is moving. Looks awesome.

Don't be shy guys, this would be a great opportunity to get comfortable with your purchase and the things he can do to the car seem almost endless.

A chance to get the installation experience this car needs.

Just something to keep in mind, a full camera installation will take the better part of a day. So if anything like this is wanted, multiple days are likely needed to accommodate installations like this for multiple people.

I have the backup camera and while it's not hard, feeding the damn wire thru the grommet is so damn time consuming
