Can it be installed on E93? Seems like a motion sensor should work fine, but not sure if that's the case. Do you have the part number by a chance?

i'll take the whole thing if my car is prewired. is there any way to check that besides calling the dealer? anyway pm coming

Best way to check is to pull off the little dome in the middle of the headliner and see if you have a wiring harness there

if you are sitting in the back seat, just give it a good tug from the front, straight down. it will pop right out.
