I could meet and cruise every weekend it feels, just wish I didn't have to drive 100+ miles just to get to the starting line.

I will have to do some research and see if any good road like the ones around Greenville are closer to me. Also cruising around Charleston would be fun too. The beach is a good reason to make it a 2-3 day trip

Caffeine and Octane which is the first Sunday of each month (this weekend) is huge. Hundreds of cars. Some of the ATL BMW crew meet up at 6am on that Sunday at Cracker Barrel near the meet and then rolls over around 6:45am.

http://www.caffeineandoctane.com/

Only 2 hours from Greenville but 3+ from Columbia.

God Almighty that's early! Haha. We can definitely try to get a crew together and take a weekend to go for a drive. While I'm all about Tail of the Dragon, I think there are plenty of roads around here that will easily rival that, and have less traffic.

Maybe we can plan something in a few months?

Sounds good Eric. I think the earliest would be the last weekend of June. Heck we don't even have the pictures from last weekend's drive yet.

I'll kind of leave it up to you to contact the GA guys, and we'll decide on the date, distance, route ect...

I'll be gone the weekends of June 14th and the 27th for weddings back in PA so hopefully this will get pushed to July. If not just be sure to take pictures. I should have my new exhaust set up by then

That would be the case since I'll be up in Charlotte NEXT weekend to finally finish up the shifter job.

I'm definitely up for Charlotte C&C one weekend, but I think for our little Southeast drive, we should meet in SC again, since so that it's not too far for both NC and GA guys... and more convenient for us haha

But honestly, I think SC is a good starting point because there are all sorts of driving roads not far from Greenville. Some loops can be a couple of hours, others can be a pretty decent drive through 3 different states.

Where in SC would you guys want to meet up at? We can head up I85 north and meet up some place and hit the road. Have you come up with a route yet? Could you send the map out to everybody? I might look in mapquest and see if I can come up with some rides around your area.

No specific route yet. Want to see what kind of interest there is so we can then all decide how long of a drive we want this to be.

I was thinking Greenville again because it's kind of the middle point for everyone. If no one from NC wants to go, then we can move the meeting point further South. And somewhere on I85 would be fine.

What dates you have in mind for this one. I will go south. Not that many roads near Charlotte. The woop woops like to hang around these parts.
Man, finding a set of used zcp is getting harder and harder. I hate to spend 2k on new ones when I could get a set of the Work or forgestar for the same price.

Ok, just let me know on some examples, so I can run some maps. Maybe a tentative meeting point, that way I can use that for a starting point. It looks like a lot of the guys are saying more towards July. Would you like to move it after July 4th weekend? I'm trying to see who in GA might be interested, other than me.

We were thinking at the very end of June or early July, nothing set yet. If we can kind of come up with a rough number of who wants to join, we can start planning. We got a while to go so that's OK.

If you can get brand new ZCP's for 2k, I'd go for it! That's a great price. I paid 1800 shipped for rims with some curb rash. But if you get ZCP's, I'd recommend getting spacers, so we are talking another $200.

I will say though, the Forgestar Super Deep Concave look incredible. But at the same time, I like the OEM+ look the ZCP's give.

Yea I'd definitely recommend after July 4th weekend for sure because I'm sure a lot of people will be out of town ect... not to mention heavy traffic. The roads were fantastic. But we could do a loop towards the SW instead as well.

We can do something like this:

Here's an action from my car of the 2 other forum members

We get the mad hook up at the hendrick bmw dealers because I work at Motorsports. I already have 12,15,17.5 spacers so I should be good.
One thing I dont ike about the forgestar is the colors that go with our color car. Black is too much, gunmetal is the same color as the car which I dont like. I have wondered how the titanium finish looks compared to the zcp finish. I am on eibach so that helps a little.
If I had the money for a set of hre p44sc tinted brush this would be easy. LOL
