DetailersDomain.com - Much needed paint correction on this BMW M5 e39

A great customer came to us with his "NEW" to him BMW M5 e39 - it was mechanically in great condition and to the best of his knowledge at pick up was "Detailed". After a couple of washes he was a bit surprised to see how his "NEW" car looked. He called us up and we were brought on to fix all the dealers mistakes.

Subject: BMW M5
Requirement: Customer requested to fix his paint on his new to him M5. Glaze when used under the wrong hands is just not good.

We always find more dirt and grime on tires even after hitting them with a brush and apc.... what we do is hit them up with Stoner's Tarminator and a MF Towel, take a look at what we were able to pull off.

Looks amazing.

Does FG400 produce a lot of dust? I have used MG105 and Menzerna SIP and love the results, but both produce dust.

FG produces a lot less dust then the other 2.

What you want to do is prime the pad with product and spritz of distilled water.

When you continue working on the car spritz a little more even a 1/2 spritz will last you a bit. as well if it starts to cake up on you change pads.

Those before and after picks are nothing short of amazing. By far the worst swirl marks I have ever seen.

amazing work....wow.

What kind of pad would you use with FG400 for a finish with just some very light swirl marks and a Porter Cable....?

thanks!

sure thing you can use the

Meg's MF Cutting Pad or the Uber MF Cutting Pads.

On a PC I would recommend speed 5

as well on the PC you may need some Meg's M101 for more cut.
