Which one is faster?

C63 Coupe (No power package)
Or
2013 Cayman S PDK?

Or M3 E92 (6 Speed) Vs Cayman S PDK

1/4 mile, the V8s win, farther than that, even more so. That said, I would have bought the NEW 2013/14 Cayman S if it were available just 6 months ago.

V8 On the E92 & 63 Wins? I thought the Cayman S is as fast as the bigger brother, which is the 991. plus the 991 is faster then the 997 C2S, which raced a 63 sedan on youtube, therefore the Cayman S being the same speed as the 991. idk we need to see this race either in person or on youtube.

I love both, but the Cayman is a more nimble and better handling car. Depends on what you want, and if it's just speed then go for the C63.

C63 is drag beast, tune and exhaust and leave it NA can push out over 500 rwhp. I mean as an AMG, the handling has improved a lot comparing to SL55 and others AMG but its still not as good as the m3

Numbers don't lie dude, read up on all editorial reviews on all three cars and you'll see it. Is the new Cayman S close? yes, but the V8s will take it down past the 100 mph mark with a proper driver.

Indeed. I wish the new Cayman S was 400+ out of the gates, that really would be something...

ha...right you are...but the thread topic is the thread topic. numbers are the numbers. this isn't a discussion about "balance"...

P car is always well balanced, not just a crazy drag car. Straight line C63 is faster then Carrera but totally different story on the track. Too much hp in the rear wheels basically is making the car unbalanced.

Garage List
2008 e92 M3  [5.00]
I wish VFE would develop a s/c kit for the new Cayman S, then it would be the ultimate driving machine!!!

especially the 2013 models, i was a die heart 911 guy, but since porsche has ungraded the Cayman & Boxster, you can think twice. Chirs Harris loves both the Cayman & Boxster, they have similar performance (base 991).

Does it imply that the new boxster is being preferred to the m3? M3 6 speed is a bit unfair, how about m3 DCT. I thought m3 would be a car that most people would pick..?

Agree, thread is pretty pointless. OP could just have Googled this.

The AMG weighs ~1000 lbs more. No thanks.
