Like many decisions there is a risk/reward factor to evaluate. What data is out there to do this? Reward is the increase in power, the risk is no warranty on extremely expensive engines and in my case with a DCT, an expensive tranny. Would just like data to evaluate that ratio prior to jumping in.

Are any of these numbers available?
I have installed gen 1 level 2/meth kits on both 6mt and DCT . No issues on either trans or engines. 490whp on dyno dynamics was my number. 325whp stock. Warranty is a dealer discretion matter.
Thanks. That's encouraging but I'm looking for overall stats so I can see what my odds are of getting your results.

Re-ksflatlander
NikB316 posted some figures that showed his setup being a mere 1hp below my kit. Could have been humidity, lol. Unfortunately not quite enough Active members here that have posted figures for you to scroll through. Hope we can change that. Good luck on your finds. No matter what you choose I am sure you will be happy with some mods.

I would say fuel mileage and tire life are the downsides Rewards on the other hand are never being concerned what is beside you at a stop

Exactly what VCM said above. I have over 30 dynos done with my generation 2 stage 3 kit all very consistent with graph and power. Same thing when I had my generation 1 stage 2 kit however the new generation is definitely the best. I have nearly 25k supercharged miles on my car and its running stronger than ever. Check out this thread: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81569

80k supercharged miles on a single kit and car - very impressive! That is the highest amount of miles seen on a single supercharged e92 m3 car. AA has been in the business a long time and you'll see older M3s done up by them with 150k+ miles. Get a good kit, good installer and enjoy!

Sick video! He is right about the centrifugal blower matching the original characteristics of the car. As I have said before, it really feels like an M3 - just a realllllly fast M3

We have been hearing the same great feedback from everyone even owners of other kits.

Its not much of a suprise as we get the same compliments on our E46 m3 kits as well.

Hey Andrew, what I found interesting , and it may be engine dynamics, is the HKS is so smooth on the E46 while the rotrex is aggressive. Opposite on the S65. Do you find this as well?

Yes the Rotrex does seem to be on the aggressive side for the e46 m3 when getting into the higher boost ranges. However we do notice a small amount of power down low from the hks on the s54.

Andrew: I've got your customers '09 E92 M3 DCT here. Will update the DCT to Euro software and the engine software to the latest versions. Also performing EDC delete, Euro MDM, and Race Seat coding. Then the car gets shipped to the new owner pending install of his Active Level 3 kit. Can't wait to see the build progress!

Not a chance, I don't get my hands dirty

Just prepping the engine and dct software and getting all of the bells and whistles dialed in before the build begins

Car is going to be shipped to Minnesota to the new owner on Tuesday or Wednesday once I complete my part.

Nice! Wish you could drive it when it is completed but, I think you will be a little busy with your Goat build
