Have you tracked the 575 on the ring for multiple sessions? How did it do? Any issues? Did you have to upgrade to a BBK to reign / manage the stopping power?

under the vid go on my channel, i have a few ring vids. I did about 40 laps with the SC and about 60 without. My best so far was 7:45 with Nitto Nt01 and half worn brake pads. Brake system is the weak point on the m3. You can really get them cooking in the first lap if you are not careful. I usually am able to do 2 laps before they come useless. BBK is a must to get full potential of the SC. Track use was my main concern. Here are the positive of having the SC: low end power. I'm a manual, and now i can stay in higher gear in more places (like no need to go down to 2nd anymore, and 4th is more useful). The only real issue is temps... she does get hotter than stock. normal driving, there are no problems, but once on track, yea, you see it...

Great video. Thanks for sharing. I never burried the needle like that max I hit was 302. Your Car has over 100 k and performs quite well.

Anyone know the actual formula?

I believe this is the ratios:
6MT

1st: 4.055:1
2nd: 2.369:1
3rd: 1.582:1
4th: 1.192:1
5th: 1.000:1
6th: 0.872:1

Final Drive: 3.846:1
I also come up with 196mph (315km/h)

The formula:

Speed in km/h = RPM / Gear ratio / Final Drive * 60 * (Tire width * Aspect Ratio / 100 * 2 + Wheel Dia * 25.4) * 3.1416 / 1000000

RPM = 8400
Gear Ratio = 0.872
Final Drive = 3.846
Tire Width = 265
Aspect Ration = 35
Wheel Dia = 19

and you have the Intercooler already, are you hovering at 270 - 280 temps? How high are we talking about?

Yep, agree, BBK for a S/C car would be recommended.

Tire size is 285/30-19.

Hmm... maybe i had a bad calculator before.... My math is bad this morning... so what is the descrepancy % if shown speed is 337km/h?. About 7%?

Not that high. if im really hauling ass then i can see up to 260, at which point the redline comes down (7k rpm). Moderate 2 laps at the ring can see up to 255.

the max ive seen on the road is about 220. mostly right around 210.

With this tire size, theoretical max in 6th at 8400RPM is 309km/h. This means about a 9% error.

These are all approximations though. The actual tire diameter is not necessarily a direct correlation to the "quoted" size and aspect ratio. Further, especially at these high speeds, tire slip is not negligible which induces an even greater error. The easiest way to figure out the exact speed is with a GPS.
