Even though the blower has accumulated over 130k + miles over the past 5 years I have decided NOT to service it ! Seals are fine it's not leaking any oil , ball bearings have only pushed 8 psi of boost which is not even 50% of it max threshold, I wanna see how far I can take this blower before it needs servicing...

This will also give the general public an idea what to expect out of their hardware .

Will update with more detailed pics of the motor tomorrow !

how does it have 130k miles on it? arent these relatively new compared to t the platform we are driving? didnt know anyone had that many miles on an m3 let alone with sc.

i thought that also but still seems like a lot of mileage with multiple m3s.

He is running all the same parts from his original kit. The only parts that have changed have been belt, pulley, software, injectors as he went up in power over the years.

This is the ultimate endurance test for the ESS kit, not to mention a stress test for the S65. From what Zim says, there are no signs of any weakness so far. That's crazy!

Not to mention I have put over 300 launches on this kit too , It is pretty amazing ....
Rick it was great meeting you man , sorry I had to run off the way I did , I hear you are in the same business as I so I'm sure you know what it's like !!!

As far as your kit goes slap that baby on right after your break in , heck ... My two previous M's went in for their initial break in service with the blowers on them lol I wish I took pics of the techs surrounding the car with wtf looks on their faces !

Good points !
As roman stated everything in the kit is original minus pulley , blower belts to accommodate the new pulleys , Injectors durring the transition of 600-625-650 now VT3 injectors , & the flawless software of course

Just change your blower oil as required, I have 3 intake filters and I always swap it out during every oil change which I always change at 5k ( don't believe in that 15k oil change ) ...
This kit will last more for a long long time , shit it's resale value is slim to non.

That is good to know...and another of the many reasons this is such an awesome product.

I had a Vortech v1 (rock grinder) blower on my early 90's Saleen and it was indestructible back then. Everything else broke on the car but not the Vortech, even with the cog pulley installed. With the cog it sounded like you were behind a 747 at full thrust.
