i know i was looking for your comparison of the rs3 vs the others not the nt01. i currently have ad08 which functions as my daily and wet track day tire and nt01 which is obviously dry track tire. looking to take the next step at some point with both sets.

Most I know say the Rs3 is grippier than ad08/nt05/re11.
But I hear the ad08 is better in feedback, wet grip, turn in

I agree, the tranny feels extremely precise and engaging. I had all of my s2k buddies compliment the shifting on it, and nothing until this day compares to an s2k shifter.

Awesome times again! For anyone comparing boss times to m3 times, my boss 302 best at streets of willow was 1:27 100% stock, and 500 miles on odometer

Not much to really elaborate on. The RS3's are more dedicated to their purpose, while NT-05's, RE-11's and AD08's are extremely high performance street tires that do very well at the track in comparison to other tires such as Michelin PSS and the like.

NT-01's are better than RS3, but RS3 will demolish the AD08's for track performance. I personally prefer the Nitto NT-05 over the AD08, I find them to be much more consistent and predictable. RE-11 is great as well, and will be my next tire, as I find the NT-05 to be extremely annoying and noisy for the street.

RS-3's are better than AD08 hot and dry, but AD08's much better wet or colder. In my area of the country, got to expect cold and wet even in the summer.....

I flip to NT-01's if it is dry.....

I love the 302s.. especially now that they will stop production. I have not driven one, but I can just imagine it, for the regular 6MT GT was already blast to drive

If you are using the car as primarily a track/fun car i'd say the best thing to do with tires is get a dedicated R comp and a dedicated street tire on a separate set of wheels. The least grippy R comp is still going to run circles around a competition autocross tire in overall life and performance on the track.

Because my car has aftermarket suspension, running a stiff sidewall tire on the street can be a little overkill in my opinion, and not cost effective in the long run. The one exception being a Pilot Super Sport IMO, the overall comfort and street/track life is high given the amount of grip it has

I've ran the Nt05 for quite awhile now (3 different track days) and its been a great tire. Not the best traction out there but it's been very well
Rounded in terms of performing in the street and track. I haven't felt that it has been extremely loud on the streets but my M's exhaust is rather loud so perhaps that's it. Ill be trying RS3's next time around just to switch things up

I liked my nt05's but I did find them to be loud on the streets after a track event until the tread wore evenly, like a mud terrain tire. They were predictable, cheap and symmetrical. But they do tend to heat soak quickly, but they don't get overly greasy. Compared to my experience with my pss, I'm in love with my pss tires. The tires are so consistent and they take beating really well, all the while wearing very slowly. If time isn't what your after, I think the pss are a bargain for street/track duty

Just want to double check, do you still have your GT3? How does the Mustang compare to it in terms of daily driving? I may be a future GT3 customer so any feedback would be helpful.

I don't have my GT3 anymore. They each have their ups and downs. Just message me if u have specific questions

Absolutely! That's irrefutable, I was just mentioning them for a good street/ track tire that lasts a long time and has really good anti heat soaking capabilities
