The black finish on those 18s is horrible. Was hoping for a lighter color finish.
If they are that black in person, that will be tough not to get the 19s. Shame BMW made the 18s so much more uglier than the 19s. Money-grubbing.

We saw pics of the 18s without that finish, so I guess they would be available that way, too. The car config on the web has clear 18s.

Yeah, saw some pics in CA of the silver finish. Looks eleventy-billion times better. The wallpaper on BMWUSA.com has the silver finish as well.
South said they wouldn't be available in that finish. He can't be wrong can he?

No open, but the inside looks as one would expect.

1st cars in Oct/Nov, BMW is allowing the dealers to sell the demo cars, so you will see some around in private hands as off today. I was told 60 units for 2007.

The 18”s look ok in person they look dirty but are clean. I am glad I chose 19”. I cant believe they did not go for 19”s.

ok been to hyde park .. yup its justin's car the DP ... he owns the daytona opposite the BMW as well ... it looks alot nicer in person, see he speced it with that m pack ... and just pdc... already got a phone call from a guy offering me a space grey with black interior fully speced for R820k ... car is apparently coming in next week ... BTW the satin chrome type interior trim does not look half bad in person ...

Agree... looks like it hasn't been washed for months with all the brake dust The 19s look so much better.

Also, I've a hunch the 19" BBS CH will look awesome on the new M3... resembles the rims on the E46 M3 GTR in ALMS
