There was a thread here some time ago, the rear brace was branded as the biggest waste of bling $ ever for the E9xM3. It was actually a very comical thread ... hunting for it.

Yeah that thread is interesting...
I'm after one for more of a harness bar and if it stiffens the frame then it's a bonus. I don't want to use a true harness bar because I need to use my back seat. |

I wouldn't even think of using a strut bar for a harness bar. Just get a harness bar and only put it in for track events.
