Nope. But I am planning on also getting a 40sw conversion barrel for it just to have some expanded caliber capabilities.

I'm kind of leaning towards a CZ 75B. For those of you that dabble in the market on a regular basis, are you seeing any signs that the "craze" is abating? I don't really want to buy right now, just because selection is limited, and prices are high.

Yeah, these threads are dangerous...and expensive.

Between these threads and Hickok45s youtube channel I am spending thousands.

Hickok45s channel actually helped me get my dad back into shooting. He was trying to tell me, he was too old to shoot a lot, didn't know what to shoot, how to shoot, etc. Made him watch some of the videos and now hes back into it. Hell, he has started calling me to go shoot and wants to come and reload with me on a regular basis now, which works for me.

On a more thread related note, just purchased a Springfield EMP40 for a new carry gun. Looking forward to picking it up a few days when I get back from my whirlwind tour of the country.

CZ 75B is awesome. I have the Stainless version. Don't leave home without it!

You live in TEXAS which means you should have an arsenal of firearms. Come on now!

i know right.

maybe i should have been a "gun guy" instead of a photographer.

i'd have about $13000 worth of guns and ammo lol.

i have $9,700 worth of equipment in just the two camera bodies and two lenses that i shoot with.

that's like 5 AR15's, and about 10-15 pistols HAHA !!!!

Yes, But not 5 ARs and 10 - 15 pistols. I think he meant it was an either or type of thing.

My safe is finally here and i'm glad to be keeping both my arsenal and my L Glass in the safe from now on.

Nope, I shouldn't I don't care much about cameras, (but if someone starts a good thread I may drop a few grand on them)

As of yesterday my safe is overfilled. My new M&P 15-22 is in a range bag on the top shelf in my garage.

The worst part about a second safe is the need to fill it too....I must think about this.

You won't regret it. That or you can just get one, bigger safe...

That's even worse, I have one big safe and one really big safe!

I do want to get a safe for my cabin, and that will help. My rifles will live and play there.

That's actually how I fixed the problem of running out of room in the safes at my home. Kept a few rifles at home so I can use them should I wish but the majority went to the cottage where I can use them much more easily.

What did you get?

I would prefer a mechanical lock, but the electronic locks seem to be much more common.

Just a Cannon. Nothing super special. Mainly chose it cause the size fit my space well. 60"x40"x29".

I really wish i would have thought about it more when building my house. I would have just built a closet out of block and put a vault door on it. Well, just not out of block, but rebar reinforced block with a full pour in the wall.

an AR-15 is typically $900-1400.

both of my lenses were more than that: my 70-200 lens was $2300 and my 24-70 was $1800 <--- there's 3 AR15's right there....

my D700 was $2600

my D800 was $3000

so yeah, i'd have an assault team if i wouldn't have spent so much money on my camera stuff.

either way - sorry for turning this into a money/camera/gun debate.

i was just trying to explain one of the reasons that i am not a gun guy

Actually AR's are more like $900-$3000 depending, and decent handguns are $500-1000+. So even if you got all low end stuff and absolutely no ammunition or accessories your numbers were just cutting it. I have over $9K invested (not including safes or ammo) and I only have 3 long guns (.22, .556 and 12GA) and 5 pistols. Spent at least another couple thousand just on ammo last year.
