In a way I'm looking forward to the M4 where $2000 will pretty much give you the same results. Turbo Ms aren't all that bad.

Did you guys raise the power of stage 1 from 560 to 580hp? Your AA website shows 580hp for stage 1

Yes we did. Not only does the new kit have more peak power but it also has more tq and a flatter hp curve.

About to go for a nice long hour drive . Too bad these damn temporary oem 19s are so bald and poorly balanced. Wheel vibrates from 70-90. Not much vibration at 140mph yesterday though

That was the smoothest and easiest 140 I have ever clocked. 18" TE37SL going on Saturday so I'll try to take it somewhat easy until then.

Sooo I managed to get to MaximumPSI for a really quick visit after getting the O2 sensor replaced and adaptions cleared. Car ran like a consistent champ! Same numbers but there was no small dip in the middle of the curve we were sometimes getting prior to the sensor being replaced. We also didn't get the new filter in as my current one is old and crushed! I'm going to try to pop in there Tuesday to get the new filter and other pieces on and see if it makes a difference. I'll also be on the Volks by then and will empty my trunk which has all the old s/c kit in it....whoops :/ shits kind of heavy! My plan from there is to go to a dynojet so we can also see the difference between the two dynos on the same day.

I plan on typing up a nice detailed report of my driving impressions and all in the next few days but lets just say the kit has exceeded my expectations. I will include dynos from each day in my report as the more information the better for everyone. My car is totally different and feels like an OEM rocket! I think Active has hit a home run with this kit. Anyone around my area looking for a test drive just hit me up! If I was in a buyers shoes I would love to be able to drive the kits to see the pros and cons to determine what would be best for me! We are an M3 community after all.

haha agreed...ah how I miss my 335i because of that. It was rewarding doing a tune and seeing such big gains. But I still love the M3 more.

This AA kit its really cool though, if I wasn't so worried about factory warranty I would probably go for it.

Man you are going to LOVE this upgrade. I was on the fence of either selling my car or going over to an ESS VT650 kit (which are great kits as well)! Wouldn't have been a big price difference factoring selling my old kit and a good deal on the 650 kit. I am 100% glad I picked this route! I have been I guess you could say satisfied with my car/kit to date but this is what I wanted it to be from the beginning! Everything feels so much smoother! It's trickled down the the transmission and even the sound!

I can't wait to see how the car will be with the new wheels Saturday and rear diff brace on Monday! I have a 80 mile highway commute 7 days a week starting March 1 and this is going to be perfect for it .
