Nice man! I am consider PSS in 275/35/18 for 18x10 et25. I have 12/15 spacers now and would like to keep them on. I am curious to see if anyone tried this exact setup and if you rub.

Thoughts?

Hi all, just like a bit of advice really.
Just bought some BBS CH alloys for my e92 m3
Fronts are 9.0j x19 et 20
Rears are 10.5jx19 et25
Now i was thinking about putting on PSS 255x35x19 on fronts
and 2 PSS 275X35X19 on rear.
I have no spacers planned and stock edc.
Do you think i'll have any issues before i commit to buy.

It seems like I have a lot of clearance on the rear still despite the offset and drop. Gonna be a test bed and try to max out the 10.5 rear rim with a 305 tire...I'll report back (I'm assuming it's going to rub due to what I've read, but there's a lot of room still from the looks of it, so we shall see!)

*edit* installed the 305s and no rubbing what so ever

Don't mind the dirty rims lol

Rubbing?: In the rear against the wheel well liner where the bumper attaches to the rear 3/4 panel. Does not touch any body parts, just the liner. In the front you get some rubbing in the wheel well lining but only at full lock. My guess is because the AD08s are much more square shouldered than the PSSs.

(F) Pins pulled for camber -1.42º/-1.49º, caster 7.11º/6.83º
(R) camber -1.66º/-1.70º

Fender Modifications: none

Rubbing?:

Before camber adjustment: slight rubbing in rear on outside of tire, only on heavy dips.
After camber adjustment: The tires rub the front interior fender liners on front side, when steering is turned partially. It's very light rubbing, not noticeable at >10mph. Nevertheless, I'm now considering replacing the front spacers with 5mm spacers to see if that resolves the rubbing. I'm loath to reverse the camber adjustment, as I detest the stock understeer as it is.

(Also, on my previous car, 2011 E92 M3 ZCP, I had no rubbing with Yokohama AD08s, without spacers.)

hey guys, I'm looking of some advice on how to run my setup

I got a set of TE37's from my previous non-M but these were quite aggressive on my original car so I am wondering if they will work on a Mcar

The specs are
18x9.5 +28 (I assume this will be for the front)
18x9.5 +22 currently have 265/35/18 PSS on them

So what I was thinking is:
1) run square setup of 265/35/18 on all
2) to put the 265/35/18 tires on the front and run the fattest possible tires on the rear w/o rubbing

Also, will I need spacers to prevent rubbing on the suspension struct?

I am currently on stock ZCP ride height which I think is 10mm lower then reg M3. I am not looking for the stretch and poke look but something that is optimized for this car to decrease unsprung weight and increase rear traction.

My goal is to have the best setup for daily and I can use it for track as well. Advice from you guys will be greatly appreciated as I am very new to Mcars and very excited to bring it to my first track day when spring/summer comes.

Sorry for the slow response... this is the best picture I have of the wheels on the car right now.

I have since isntalled the H&R coilovers and get the occasional "thunk" in the trunk area if I go over a large bump at speed.. this is with the car loaded with 4 adults. Overall, not bad and very liveable IMHO

Read this for an explanation on tire sizing:

The aspect is a ratio or percentage of the tire width. In an effort to keep the sidewall heights consistent front to back, you need to use a higher aspect ratio on the narrower tire and a lower ratio on the wider tire. You will notice that people use the same ratio front and rear when they choose tire widths that are only 20mm different (like OEM). 20mm + usually requires differing ratios.
