RS7...560 HP !!!

At first....I don't like Audi's...... !!!
But the performance is....wow !
The numbers ; 4,0 L V8 twin turbo...( ///M5.needs 4,4 L) with 560 Hp,and 0-100 in 3,9 sec.and that's faster than any BMW !
What i wanted to say is.....BMW watch out !

AWD will take care of the 0-60 in 3.9. It's also capable of understeering into a tree.

It all depends on how you want to end up on that tree: ass first with the M5 or face forward in the RS7.

Not 100 % agreed....0-100 km u(3.9 sec.) is actualy in US terms 0- 62.13 miles....so 100/km u... is 62.13 US miles,so this number is even more impressive !

meh, saw the S7 at the autoshow this week. The S6 and S7 is way too expensive for what you get for the money. The A6 and A7 cars are too similar, with the S7 actually smaller for passengers. So we're paying up for less room for the same performance of a S6 (or RS6, whatever the comparison is)? No thanks.

Given this RS7 will come out at around $100k, it is just not worth it to me. RS7 adds some HP and other "fancy-boy" trinkets of high performance.

IMO the problem with the RS7 is design. It's an ugly car!

The major design flaw IMO is the way the roofline joins with the trunk lid. From a lateral view, the roof/trunk lid line looks weird and fugly. It reminds me of one of the 90's iterations of the Ford Taurus.

There is a reason why in 3:51 min of video, there is not one clear lateral shot of the car showing said roof/trunk lid line.

The same reason why said line is hidden behind the guy speaking most of the time. In other takes, just when the camera is about to show said line, the video quickly gets edited into showing something else.

The word lateral is key here, there are shots of said roof/trunk lid line from other angles, but never lateral.

And I know taste varies, that's why all above is IMO only...

no just update to the turbos. people will mod the crap out of them and you will see pretty high hp numbers.

Maybe...yes...look at the GTR.... it's also a V6 engine (twin turbo)
But a lot GTR engine's(turbo's) when tuned are blown up !(to much compression)
So.... let's hope... !

Isn't the S7 in the market to compete with the 650GC. Here at my local dealers, S7 has a window sticker of around $100k full load while in the BMW showroom a 6GC is at $122k. They are all expensive cars but how is Audi being too expensive in this case? (Also, fully loaded S6 is $89k vs fully loaded 550ix @ $92k) I didn't go online to figure them myself, those are what I saw 2 days while visiting both local dealers. (Canadian dollar as in BC)

I completely disagree, the S6/S7 pricing points are spot on. Have you driven either to comment about their respective performance? The new S6 is a very well engineered vehicle at a bargain price compared to its competitors. I'm currently debating on getting rid of the M3 for the S6 because I was so impressed, and I'm no Audi guy.

If the RS7 is really going to hit the $100k barrier it can be looked at in a couple of ways...it will be priced right on top of M5 pricing, but if you want to consider it against the M6 grand coupe, it will likely be about 20k less. Other than the chrome wheels (not likely for production anyway) I really like the looks of the RS7, but 100k is out of my range regardless. Too many tuition bills to pay these days!
