Oh yeah, none
With BMW these days, I'll believe it, when I see it. They've been making pigs lately. If it ends up weighing less, great. If not, nothing new.

LOL, you can read right? Trying searching the forum on what the projected plan is for the new M4. This information is brought to us by BMW insiders and some interviews with BMW ///M staff.
The denial is strong with the doubters

Whats projected and what really is, are two different things. When I see it with my own eyes that the new M whatever weighs less then the current model, them I will believe it. Until then, BMW has given us every reason to believe that it will weigh more. Their cars are over weight and bloated. Dont drink too much koolaid.

If you compare the e90 vs the f30, the f30 is supposed to be 88lbs lighter, but actual numbers don't show that much weight loss.

Searching the forums, you can find 6mt e90 335s on a scale weighing very close to 3700lbs. With the M3 weighing more than the 335, I wouldn't be surprised to see the larger F80 M3 with DCT and all the creature comforts to have similar weight as the current model.

Like everyone else, I want lighter, but would be content with no weight gain.

oh and diavel

I love the new vette.

I'd love to pick one up when they're ~2 years old - after the 'new edition' mark-ups are over, and the used ones de-valued a bit.
Used corvettes have usually been a super good deal.

Oh please.

Right now it's just some pictures and numbers. I drove the C6 to see if it would take me out of the M and didn't like it as much, talking just as a driver's car. Z06 this and ZR1 other, all of a sudden we are talking $70-80-100k and beyond, and at that level I'd personally rather have a 997.2S, or GT3. Hell, I'm more excited about the new Cayman.

So let's all rejoice that the C7 looks promising from all sorts of angles, and thank God they've finally fixed the interior, but let's not exaggerate prematurely.

Unless you've already driven it?

Nothing wrong with that. I just wish you'd stop pushing them like they're the greatest thing on earth since, well, the wheel probably. It's a bit grating, especially on an elitist bimmer forum.

Well, when you have so many BMW fanbois that think the 911 is the greatest thing since pussy, then I gotta say something. Lets stay on track with the thread.

Some of us like slow cars(E9X owners) and some of us love fast cars, nothing wrong with that too

So what are you doing over here, come to flaunt the fastness of your car? Wouldn't you be better off mingling with the other fast car lovers? You know, swapping stories about how you dusted so many slow bimmers...

Well wouldn't those technically be Porsche fanboys? In any case, I don't think Corvette fanboys are in any way superior.

Probably old news to some, but was reading a motortrend that said, "Chevy rejected a twin-turbo V-6 because while it delivered on power, it didn't improve fuel economy."

Chevy does have that cylinder deactivation with the V8, but interesting when compared to the M3's engine downsizing.

I'm glad they rejected a TT V6. I would never buy one if they did use it. No V8, No buy.
