Sosi X-Pipe Question - Resonators?

I'm considering getting a Sosi X-Pipe to give my Bastuck exhaust a bit more volume (it's not much louder than stock right now).

I'm wondering about resonators. How many are on the stock x-pipe? Are any retained with this setup?

I don't want my system to sound too raspy as I'm not really into that sound.

I've heard a cat-less and resonator-less x-pipe before, and it's more rasp than I like.

Appreciate any advice on this.

Stock only comes with two. The quad resonator set up sounds sexy. I'm actually going the quad route I don't have you set up so probly sound dif. And dinan as well as gitani do the quad resonator set up I'm pretty sure.

Hmm, maybe I'll just have a shop cut out the stock secondary cats instead of buying this. That way I keep the resonators.

The stock exhaust system comes with two pairs of catalytic converters and one pair of resonators. The Sosi X-Pipe removes the second pair of catalytic converters and the resonators.

How much more volume are you looking for (percentage-wise)? Just removing the secondary cats might not get you there...

i had the sosi before as well as the bastuck exhaust but not installed together. If you want it louder but no rasp then i suggest just deleting the 2 secondary cats and leaving the resonators. I had the sosi with the stock exhaust and it had a high rasp over 3K rpm...hope that helps.

Not that much more volume, maybe 20%? The Bastuck is pretty quiet, but I like the lack of drone. I'd like more volume in the upper frequencies.
