Other than the plaque and the window sticker, the car has nothing that every one here can't configure an M3 with unfortunately. It's no different than the "frozen BS" editions...which frankly at 1 of 40 is more rare than the limerock. Not trying to burst your bubble here, i happen to like the limerock, but you're kidding yourself if you think it will appreciate in value.

Dude you are crazy for not taking that deal. If you think you can sell that car for more than 70k you are nuts. Just ask all the other folks that have already sold their cars. It is paint, sticker and a few bolt-ons we can all buy.

Don't get me wrong I like them but it is NOT going up in value once you put 1 mile on it. Now it is just a used M3.

There's one at Braman in West Palm Beach...checked it out today while my car was getting a tire rebalance. Orange looks great in person and the M exhaust sounded sick!

I checked one out when I was ordering my car. Came close to pulling the trigger on it, but in the end decided that going through BMW Individual and getting exactly what I wanted was the way to go, wait be damned.

How would it be paying too much if he could get it at a discounted price? It's not marked up because its a "lime rock" it's marked up because someone has to pay for the exhaust, CF additions and the flat bottom steering wheel.

I just got one . - super happy with it - can you please tell me how to tell what number our of 200 mine is ?

Mine is a 6MT and from what I understand there were only 50 6MT made. Let me know - I apretiate it!!!!

Will it have better performance with the parts over a regular M3? Will it be more valuable than other M3 in a few years? The answer is probably not and if yes, not by very much. However, I think it makes the M3 more interesting. If you can afford to pay for the price difference, there is nothing wrong. For people who think it is overpriced, lets just say its hard to define what $10k or $20k means to everyone as we all have different financial situation.

FWIW, I didn't know how well I could live with a Fire Orange E90 as a daily driver but after 1+ year, I can say definitively I couldn't be happier with the decision and wouldn't trade it for any stock color.

Just picked up my Lime Rock Edition M3 and im in love with it.
Always loved the e46 M3's and e92 M3's and finally picked 1 up.
Went to the dealership to look at a space grey but fell in love with
the Lime Rock.
Here is my new baby 6M/T

BTW, a true ED plate would not be installed using US bracket...... Just a FYI....

To me personally the LR makes no sense just because I like changing most the car out anyway lol. Performance exhaust and splitters not my thing.

Did that 911 Turbo Conv. had like 100,000miles on it? Was it hit on all four sides previously? If that's case, then yeah it was a smart move on your side to say no
